There’s nothing more refreshing than a tasty cold-brew tea on a hot summers day and Bird & Blend definitely know how to create a collection of teas that can be drank hot or cold. After an amazing collection of spring teas we were really excited to receive our rep box full of summer goodies and they definitely didn’t disappoint! Here is our rundown of Bird & Blend’s summer collection…
Chamomile, apple pieces, rosehip, linden blossom, hibiscus, valerian, orange peel, natural flavouring.
This blend really does take you away to a summers day, with meadow fresh camomile, apple, hibiscus valerian and wonderful citrus orange peel flavours. Becca is not normally a fan of camomile but this may be the blend that wins her over. Incredible hot or cold brewed, this is a perfect one to sip whilst sitting in a deckchair dreaming of your next summer holiday!
Apple pieces, rosehip, hibiscus, elderberries, freeze-dried strawberry, liquorice, strawberry pieces, natural flavouring
If you love Eton Mess you’ll love this incredible tea, reminiscent of one of our favourite English puds! It’s fruity without being too tart, sweet without being sickly and it just works. One of our new favourites and is sure to sell out so if you want to try it you better get in quick! We’ve been drinking ours cold-brewed in coconut milk and it’s summer perfection.
Indian assam black tea, Kenyan black tea, hibiscus, freeze-dried raspberry, apple pieces, rosehip, red cornflowers, natural flavouring.
This tea wasn’t quite what we were expecting – it’s far more fruity (think jam on toast) than toasty but if you’re after a black tea blend with a fruity twist this is the one for you (especially if you liked Rice Pudding & Jam). It’s a great alternative to your bog-standard breakfast tea and a perfect accompaniment tea with toast.
Hibiscus, peppermint, spearmint
We are a little late to the hibiscus-tea party and haven’t really fallen in love with it yet unless it’s buried among lots of other tasty flavours. We were excited to try this blend with both peppermint and spearmint although found the hibiscus a bit overpowering for our tastes. We have since discovered an incredible new trend of hibiscus tea lattes which we can’t wait to try and we’re determined to be won over by this popular ingredient.
These new blends have just been released so make sure you get in early and stock up (especially Eton Mess as that one will surely sell out!) Don’t forget you can get 20% off your first Bird & Blend order using code bugteabird54. Shop the full collection at birdandblendtea.com.
