The fancy teaware we’re wishing for this Christmas

You may have seen at the weekend we posted our top gift DIY’s for you to make this Christmas but what do we want ourselves? We thought we would start with teaware as there is so much we are wishing for we felt it deserved it’s own separate list…

T2 Teaware

During our recent visit to T2 for their Christmas launch we discovered all of their gorgeous teaware sets many of which are collaborations with artists and illustrators. The quirkiness of their Charley Harper range stood out to us straight away. Becca’s been after a sugar bowl for ages and this one, featuring a happy little crab (£20), is just perfect. We also love this butterfly print tea set for one (£46) – make sure you check out the whole range.  If you’re after something a little fancy, Katie Scott’s beautiful botanical drawings look just perfect on this limited edition tea-cup and saucer set (£90). There is something very glamorous about glass teaware and their Moon Dance range featuring peacocks and tigers is no exception. We love this teapot (£38) but their mugs and tumblers (from £13) are also worth a look. Plus glassware is great for those of us that aren’t so keen on bone china which unfortunately T2 do use quite a bit.

We’ve had our eye on this Instagram-worthy LEAF teapot (£15) for a while. Super easy to use and because it’s glass, you can watch your brew steep to your desired colour and strength. Also, this isn’t teaware but we would ask whoever is buying this gift to pop this amazing sounding Marzipan Delight tea into their shopping cart at the same time (it is Christmas after all!)

Bluebird Tea Co

Bluebird Tea Co’s teaware range keeps getting better and better. We’ve been eyeing up their new illustrated cold-brew bottles (£26) as we love our mini versions and would love a large one for the summer. The Brewdini Gravity Steeper (£18) easy to use and simple to clean and perfect for brewing tea whilst at work. For on the go, this Billy double-walled infuser flask (£21) is eco friendly, looks great and comes with an insulating sleeve to keep your brew warm. Whilst you’re at it, you can pick up some tea too and first time tea orders can receive 20% off using code: bugteabird54 .

The Tea Makers

The Tea Makers are a relatively new discovery for us, but we found them after searching for beautiful storage tins. These gold and grey tea tins (£11.95 for two) are just gorgeous and will fit perfectly in any kitchen scheme. We’d happily add this bird tin (£13) to our collection too. Out of pure necessity we’ll also be adding this perfect tea timer (£12.95) to our wish lists this Christmas (no more over-brewed tea!). Make sure you check out their whole range as they have lots of beautiful tea sets too!

Handmade Teaware

Last but definitely not least is all the beautiful handmade teaware we have been adding to our wishlists throughout the year. Kate has been a long time fan of Duck Ceramic‘s (£19) drippy glazed homeware and some of these tumblers would be a great addition to her ceramic collection as would this brush stroke tea bowl (£29) by Tilly Hemingway. White Light Ceramics make the most beautiful mugs (£36) with intricate details that would most definitely make us smile whilst sipping on our morning brew.

What are your favourite pieces to enjoy your most-drunk blend from?
