In the spotlight: Yumchaa

As long time Yumchaa fans we were so excited when the team behind the tea company contacted us to see if we wanted to try some of their tea blends. We were a little sad they couldn’t also send us some of their yummy cakes in the post!

Yumchaa have recently rejuvenated their packaging and we simply adore the new whimsical designs on each pouch Simple but so pretty and delicate, these tea pouches look to pretty sitting on a shelf in the kitchenWe are really impressed by Yumchaa’s pricing and the amount you get in a pouch, nothing is worse than finding a tea you love and running out before your next batch arrives!

Blue Voodoo

Ingredients; Sencha Green Tea, Goji Berries, Lemon Grass, Pomegranate Seeds, Cornflower Blossoms, Blue Pea Flowers. £5.50 for 60g.

Blue teas have taken off since Bluebird started the magical trend with their Blue Raspberry blend and other tea companies were keen to catch on. Exhibiting a totally different flavour profile, Yumchaa bring us their offering: Blue Voodoo. Fragrant from the lemongrass, fruity and delicate this is definitely a blend to drink again and again. This is lovely and refreshing iced with a squeeze of lemon plus you get to enjoy the magical colour change! This blend has been extremely popular and is currently on pre-order only so get in there quick if you want to secure a pouch!

Regents Park

Ingredients; Chinese Green Tea, Papaya Pieces, Pineapple Pieces, Dried Strawberries, Dried Raspberries, Rose Petals. £5.50 for 80g.

This blend smells reminiscent of walking into The Body Shop in all the best ways. So very fruity and it holds its flavour really well. We have such a soft spot for fruity green tea blends and have been enjoying this both hot and cold, this blend will definitely be making its way to our permanent collections.

Raspberry Vanilla

Ingredients; Rooibos, Dried Raspberries, Vanilla Pods, Rose Petals. £5.50 for 80g

This rooibos raspberry blend makes us hanker for a big slice of cake to enjoy with it! Sweet and fruity, we are itching to incorporate it into a raspberry ripple recipe and it’s great for times when you want something indulgent but without caffeine.

Om Tea

Ingredients; Pai Mu Tan (white tea), Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Mint, Blackberries. £7.50 for 40g

A long time favourite of ours, Yumchaa’s Om Tea blend is one of our regular go-to’s when we need some chill time with a good book and scented candles. This delicate white tea blend, incorporates mint, fruit and spice. all of which are perfectly balanced. Drink this tea for a fast track journey enlightenment 😉

    Wow, they look yummy indeed!
I could almost feel the smell of tea while reading your post.
I keep telling myself to stop buying so much tea, but I just saw that they have Autumn blends!

    Thank you for sharing!
