Feeling inspired after reading Teapigs’ latest email we decided to try our own delicious looking milkshakes made using tea aka ‘Teashakes‘.
Becca has a large stash of Teapigs’ Chocolate Flake tea, preferring to sip on that rather than hot chocolate so we thought it would be worth giving a chocolate shake a go.
We brewed three tea temples in 100ml of water for 20minutes (we like it strong!) and then popped the liquid in a blender with our favourite Snowconut frozen yoghurt (from The Coconut Collaborative) and some dark chocolate pieces for good measure. Because the ice cream is dairy free we also added a bit of almond milk to give it more of a milky texture.
