Ten Days of Tea Shirt: Gin & Tonic

With G&T’s as our alcoholic drink of choice and combined with our love of tea, we were extremely excited to see that Tea Shirt had created a Gin & Tonic tea blend (or should that be G&Tea?!). Using white tea, lemon peel and rose flower petals it has a light refreshing flavour with all the benefits white tea gives you (the same types of antioxidants as green tea but in greater quantity, promoting good skin and health) and is so pretty too!

Gin & Tonic (£3.99 for 50g)

We used this tea to make refreshing mocktails by cold-brewing the tea (2-3 teaspoons) in fizzy water and leaving it for two days to make a really strong concentrate. When it was time for a drink we added added ice, lemon and mint, and topped it up with lemonade. You can always add a shot of gin as well to give it an alcoholic kick!

*We were sent this tea by the lovely people at Tea Shirt but all opinions are our own and we were not paid for this review.
