Cold Brew Tea

Tea, we love it hot and we love it just as much cold. You may be wondering why on earth we are talking about cold brew tea in the depths of winter. We aren’t nuts we promise!

Cold brew tea is an excellent way of upping your water intake without the added sugar that comes with many squashes and juices and is super easy to make. Whilst we have been lusting over these fancy cold brew bottles for months Santa didn’t deliver so we make do with Kilner jars or just reuse old bottles.

There isn’t much to making cold brew tea, simply select your tea. Add two teaspoons to your chosen bottle and fill with water. Brew for a minimum of twelve hours in the fridge and strain into a glass or another bottle (unless you fancy drinking tea leaves). Voila! Tasty cold brewed tea!

This Jeeves and Jericho Blackcurrant Pop fruit tea makes an excellent cold brew! If you fancy a treat, brew in lemonade instead of water. Fancy an extra treat? Add some gin or vodka to make a fruity punch!

Happy brewing fellow tea lovers!

This looks amazing – for some reason I never thought to cold steep! I cannot wait until the weather warms up, and I can sip my iced teas outside in the sun again!! In the meantime, I am going to try this out and see how it goes 🙂
